Two pioneers within the electric vehicle space, McMurtry Automotive and myenergi, today announce a new partnership.   The collaboration will see knowledge transfer between both British engineering firms and support of the McMurtry Spéirling record breaking programme in 2023 and 2024.

McMurtry Automotive is known for producing one of the quickest and most efficient electric track cars in the world, having set the outright record at the famous Goodwood Festival of Speed last year in a car capable of 0-60mph in under 1.5 seconds.

UK manufacturer, myenergi is known for producing the world’s first solar and wind compatible electric car charger and now offers a range of products to support home owners to monitor, manage and maximise their renewable energy.   The business has already sold more than 500,000 devices worldwide and was recently recognised as one of the UK’s top ten fastest-growing companies

Both firms were founded in 2016, and together McMurtry and myenergi share the spark of ingenuity and are united in their passion for delivering innovative products that are designed and built in Britain.

The McMurtry Spéirling will form an integral part of myenergi’s busy events calendar, joining the myenergi team at electrification and lifestyle shows including Fully Charged Live, the British Motorshow and Grand Designs.

The first event together is Fully Charged Live South at Farnborough on 28th-30th April. Details and tickets available here:  https://uk.fullycharged.live/

Thomas Yates, Managing Director of McMurtry Automotive:  “The collaboration was born after the two companies met in 2022. It was clear we both shared a desire to showcase the best of British engineered EV products on the world stage.   We’re very excited for myenegi to join us for the challenge to break more four wheeled records with the McMurtry Spéirling. We’ve also got a few surprises up our sleeves in terms of secret projects and activations.”

Jordan Brompton, co-founder and CMO of myenergi said:”Our mission is to pioneer a simple transition to renewable energy, so we are incredibly excited to be partnering with a fellow pioneer that is working on that same transition with what is arguably the world’s most exciting electric car. We are both challenging convention and pushing the boundaries of engineering possibilities. We are also very clear that to reach mass adoption, our message needs to reach beyond early adopters and to a new audience. The partnership with McMurtry Automotive gives us that reach to a whole new legion of future fans.”
