Established in 2009, Supercar Driver is an exclusive and growing community of supercar owners, and events such as track days are at the heart of the club’s programme.  The hotly anticipated Secret Meet brings together a spectacular array of supercars all in one place; a venue steeped in motorsport heritage.  Featuring the iconic Craner Curves and a pit lane that propelled Ayrton Senna to achieve the fastest lap time in the 1993 F1 European Grand Prix, costing Damon Hill the win, Donington Park is a rite of passage for any track car.

The event began with a number of parade laps.  As the only EV on the grid the Spéirling was in a class of its own, but not at all out of place.  Later in the day the Spéirling was let loose on the circuit alone for some hot laps.  With development driver Alex Summers at the wheel the car looked extra fast and stable – well at home on a GP circuit.

In the afternoon the Spéirling had a spin on the turntable while Managing Director Thomas Yates was interviewed for the live stream, answering the most frequently asked questions and discussing the innovative downforce-on-demand system.

A great event to be a part of, thank you to Supercar Driver for welcoming us to the event.  We can’t wait to get back out on track!
